In accordance with Study conditions for students of the Faculty of Medicine, the PhD candidate who:

  • started studies after 1st September 2023 has to pass at least 2 field-specific courses (from suggested courses in English and/or in Czech) and two mandatory courses: 

    • Molecular Medicine (DSMolM01)

    • MU Life Science Seminars (DSCB060, DSCC060) - mandatory 4 semesters

  • started studies before 1st September 2023 has to pass at least 3 field-specific courses (from suggested courses in English and/or in Czech) and one mandatory course: 
    • Molecular Medicine (DSMolM01)

  • Finishing the remaining compulsory subjects
  • Completing the repeated courses

  • Meeting the requirements of an individual study plan
  • Attending seminaries only in case of interest - not compulsory (S5050, 5010, etc.)
  • Completing any subject in agreement with the supervisor
  • Meeting the credit requirement (MU Study and examination regulations, section 12, subsection 2)
